Executive Staff:
Joseph J. Moeggenberg, President Mr. Moeggenberg has over 25 years experience in the aviation industry beginning his career as a salesman and demo pilot for the Cessna Aircraft dealer organization. In 1977 he founded American Air Service which was acquired by NetJets in 1987 and renamed Executive Jet Management. In 1992 Mr. Moeggenberg became President of NetJets. After leaving NetJets in 1995 Mr. Moeggenberg formed a new company, Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARGUS). Mr. Moeggenberg is a commercial rated pilot with over 4,000 hours of flight experience.
Mark R. Fischer, Executive Vice President Mr. Fischer has designed and built several large aviation databases, including the original CD-ROM version of McGraw Hill's World Aviation Directory, the AOPA Aviation USA Directory, the NASA ASRS CD-ROM, and the NTSB Investigator CD-ROM. His primary role at ARGUS is to oversee the data center, CHEQ, ASOS, and On-Site Audit product lines as well as on-going new product research and development. Mr. Fischer is a multi-engine, instrument rated pilot.
Shirley Mason, Vice President Research & OperationsMs. Mason has over 12 years experience serving as Vice President for Aviation Research Group/U.S., Inc. Ms. Mason came to ARGUS from Cincinnati based Procter & Gamble employed at their health care research center. Ms. Mason has extensive experience with developing and implementing ongoing market assessment, customer satisfaction and business to business research projects. Most recently Ms. Mason launched an online market research panel of aviation professionals (AvPanel).
Kathy Tyler, Director of Sales & Marketing Ms. Tyler has 18 years working in the business aviation industry. Her experience includes 14 years with Executive Jet Management where she served 7 years as a dispatcher and crew scheduler for 135 operations, 4 years selling aircraft management services and ultimately 4 years as the Senior V.P. of Client Relations. She also spent two years managing the Midwest Jet Center, a full-service FBO. She is a licensed private pilot. Ms. Tyler is responsible for marketing and selling the entire ARGUS line of aviation products and services.
Terry Webb, Managing Director - ARGUS Partners & Resources for Operational Safety Mr. Webb has 30 years of aviation experience, including military and airline operations. He served 14 years with the Oklahoma Air National Guard/U.S. Coast Guard, as an aircraft mechanic and flight engineer. His experience includes 17 years at United Airlines holding the positions of Ground Instructor, Senior Staff Coordinator - Flight Publications, Flight Safety Investigator, Manager of United Airlines QA Codeshare Operations, and finally Manager, Partners and Resources for Operational Safety (PROS). Mr. Webb has extensive safety management system and safety auditing experience. He is a commercial instrument rated pilot, an airframe & powerplant rated mechanic, and an ISO 9000 Lead Auditor. He is currently the Managing Director of ARGUS PROS, which was purchased from United in 2007.
